What Is Edge Engine?

Edge Engine is an all-in-one player engagement and retention platform designed for online gaming operators. It connects your player data, marketing automation, AI analytics, and compliance tooling into a single command center.

Whether you're running one brand or many, Edge Engine helps you understand who your players are, predict what they'll do next, and act on it — automatically.

How Data Flows Through the Platform

Step 1 — Data Ingestion

Player activity arrives via:

  • **Secure Data Connectors**: Bring player activity, transactions, and customer records into the platform
  • **Manual Import**: Upload CSV/Excel from approved data sources
  • **Event Stream**: Individual player events (login, deposit, gameplay, etc.) tracked in real time
  • Step 2 — Player Intelligence

Once data is in, the platform builds a complete profile of every player:

  • **Status & Value Tier**: Automatically classified (Active, VIP, Churned, etc.)
  • **Churn Score**: 0–100 risk of leaving
  • **CLV**: Predicted lifetime value
  • **Behavioral Profile**: AI-powered cluster (High Frequency, Casual, Dormant, etc.)
  • **Next Best Action**: What to do next for each player
  • Step 3 — Segmentation

    Group players dynamically:

  • Build rule-based segments using any player attribute
  • Create lookalike audiences from your best players
  • Segments auto-update as player data changes
  • Step 4 — Engagement (Campaigns & Journeys)

    Act on your segments:

  • **Campaigns**: One-time or recurring sends via Email, SMS, Push, or In-App
  • **Journeys**: Multi-step automated workflows triggered by behavior, segment entry, or schedule
  • **A/B Tests**: Experiment with variants to find what works best
  • Step 5 — Analytics & Optimization

    Measure everything:

  • **GGR / Revenue Dashboard**: Gross and net gaming revenue by brand and product
  • **Churn Risk Dashboard**: Track and intervene on at-risk players
  • **CLV Analysis**: Understand where your value comes from
  • **A/B Testing**: Measure lift and statistical significance
  • **Reports**: Export any data to Excel or schedule email reports
  • Step 6 — Risk & Compliance

    Protect your operation:

  • **Risk Management**: Auto-scan for high winners and bonus abusers
  • **Compliance Flags**: Track deposit limits, self-exclusions, AML alerts
  • **Suppression Manager**: Ensure opted-out players never receive messages
  • **Audit Log**: Full history of every action taken in the platform
  • ---

    Getting Help

  • Use the left sidebar to navigate to any module
  • Each module page has its own documentation in this guide
  • Use the reports and module guides for exports, workflows, and feature reference
  • Quick Tips & Best Practices

Start with the Platform Overview module to understand how data flows through the system before diving into individual features

Review the Intelligence Hub daily — it highlights the most important player, revenue, and risk signals

Run Behavioral AI → Run Full Analysis to update churn scores, CLV, and next-best-action recommendations

Segments auto-update as player data changes — build them once and reuse across campaigns and journeys

A/B tests need at least 1–2 weeks and a large enough audience to produce statistically reliable results

Always add a resolution note when clearing a Risk Flag — this creates an audit trail and protects you during compliance reviews

Use the Player 360° Profile to investigate any player before making decisions on campaigns, risk flags, or compliance actions

All tables and dashboards can be exported to Excel — use this for external reporting or sharing with stakeholders
